Fia

Neatly nested in 155b Rathgar Road, Fia’s ambiance is very laid-back and casual. Having put my caffeinated foodie hat on, I wandered into this little new gem to do a review for the TheTaste.ie.

The cafe’s minimalist style is on point. There is no unnecessary clutter of knick-knacks to drive your attention away from the plate in front of you. You eat with your eyes and mouth, no distractions. The room is well-lit and spacious. I love the Jill Deering prints of the cow and stag gracefully facing each other on the opposite walls.

It was time for my morning cup of joe. The coffee house serves Roasted Brown beans. Although a bit too tangy to my taste, the coffee was lovely. It was velvety and creamy, finished with a beautiful heart – a good way to start a day. It was just the beginning of my breakfast. Next stop: a tasty toast with country butter and raspberry and rhubarb compote, followed by a piece of Almond Cake. So spoilt!

There are so much more treats for Dublin foodies. Check out my full review at The Taste.ie.
